How to join Bajaj Avenger Club, Pune (BAC, Pune)?

UPDATE 3:

Covid has changed a lot of us. Habits and priorities have changed for people in general. There was time when people had find out time for having fun and groups like ours could help them. Since covid, people have been actively pursuing own ways enjoying with friends and families and hence the rider count and rides have gone down hill. We Avenger Motorcycle Club are not doing rides anymore due to time constraints, and priorities, so please do not contact me any more for this. It was best ride for a life so far.

UPDATE 2:

I am no longer a part of the Bajaj Avenger Club due to personal reasons that I won’t be diving into here. Because of that, I won’t be able to guide you through the official BAC onboarding process anymore.

However, with the help of a few close friends, I’ve started a brand new club: Avenger Motorcycle Club. We’ve already gone on quite a few group rides together and have grown incredibly fast, now counting over 35 active riders. If you own an Avenger and are looking for a solid group to ride with, I’d love to have you onboard! Feel free to drop a line in the comments or shoot me a message directly at +91 99[REDACTED].

We currently have active chapters in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, and Kolhapur. If you love the vibe and want to help start a new chapter in your own city, head over to the contact form on our official website (http://www.avengermotorcycle.club) to get in touch with me!

UPDATE 1:

The step-by-step instructions at the bottom of this original article are now outdated. Instead of following those steps, you can simply leave a comment on this post with a link to your Facebook profile. I’ll keep an eye out and reach out to you directly on Facebook—just make sure to check your message requests!

Alternatively, you can just drop your mobile number in the comments. Don’t worry about privacy—I will read it, save it, and delete your comment right away so it isn’t public, then reach out to you directly on WhatsApp.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

I’ve been a part of the Bajaj Avenger Club, Pune for over a year now, and riding with this group has been an absolute blast. There are so many reasons to join a riding club like this. Beyond the fact that everyone is incredibly fun-loving, the best part is the discipline—we strictly ride in formation and follow safety rules to the letter. For us, safety always comes first.

That said, actually tracking down and joining BAC Pune used to be a bit of a painful process. The group doesn’t have a dedicated website, only a Facebook page/group and an Instagram profile. It took me a while, but I eventually figured out how to get in touch and join. I wanted to share the exact steps I took so the next rider doesn’t have to jump through the same hoops I did.

Steps to Join BAC Pune:
  1. Reach out to Tony, the president of BAC, Pune, on Facebook. Send him a direct message asking to join the club, and throwing in a friend request is usually a good idea. (Note: His profile link has been removed).
  2. Normally, he’ll accept the request and reply with a link to an online signup form, along with his contact number.
  3. Once you fill out the online form, drop him a quick message on WhatsApp to let him know.
  4. As soon as you show up to your first official club meetup or group ride, he will add you directly to the main BAC Pune WhatsApp group, where the bike discussions literally never stop.

Why the mandatory meetup step? We’ve had people join the online group who never actually show up to a single ride. Step 4 is just a simple way to make sure we’re adding active riders who genuinely want to hit the road with us.

If you run into any issues trying to connect with the group, let me know in the comments below!

Trust me, you’re going to have an incredible time riding with BAC Pune. But a quick heads-up: if you just bought a brand new Avenger and want to join the group just for the sake of having a badge or bragging rights, don’t bother. We are looking for people who genuinely love to ride.

Feel free to check out the club’s social handles to get a feel for the brotherhood and see exactly why you should join:
