Can I pass more arguments which are supported by PHP CodeSniffer?

No. In the current latest version, we do not allow passing of any extra arguments supported by PHP CodeSniffer. I'll be soon working on the new version which provides more option. You can request it at Github issue tracker

I want to host this plugin on my private repo instead of pulling from central maven repo. Can I?

Yes. You can take the latest source code from Github project of PHP CodeSniffer maven plugin and push to your repo. Just note that do not ulter the license / copyright notice.

I'm getting error when I use the plugin. What should I do?

Run the maven command with -e switch. Now report that with logs on Github tracker of PHP CodeSniffer maven plugin
